June 2, 1999 — The "crack" itself is very silly. It is really only a single file copied and replaced. When the video is viewed, the plug-in deletes the file. This "crack" simply makes the file available offline and backs-up the file before the plug-in can delete it.

We at Aphex Start have been using the "crack" for some time now to view the video while offline (when we don't want to put the VHS in the player). It was just the proper time to make it available to the public in an easy to use format.

Simply run the program, which will uncompress six files to a directory of your choosing, then run the file "Lickme" from that directory. Very easy. So easy, in fact, that there is no support for the package. You are on your own. But you're all smart enough anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem.
