January 28, 1999 — The new site design has finally been implemented. It will allow me to update things far more easily than I had allowed myself in the previous iteration of this site's design. Everything is modular now. One simple change to the "toolbar" file updates the toolbar on every single page on the site. That may not seem like a very big deal to you, my loyal visitors, but to me, it's a definite godsend.

I've also decided on using style sheets over font tags (and other formatting tags). That will make colour scheme changes and font changes as easy to change as the toolbar. I'll even allow you guys to submit your own style sheets if you wish for periodic changes and just to mix things up when they get boring. I already have my "partner in crime" lined up to do some additional style sheet designs.

Pardon the broken links as I work out some technical design flaws and just plain work. Things will get better. I am not going to commit to any dates, but the RealAudio archive will eventually be back in full swing thanks to a program my "partner in crime" wrote to convert MPEG Layer 3 audio to 30 second RealAudio clips. It's pretty nice!
